Gunfire on a Green Valley Ranch block sent one person to the hospital Monday, as Denver police launched an investigation into a shooting in the 19000 block of East Robins Drive.
According to officers at the scene, one victim was taken to a local hospital, and officials said the extent of the person’s injuries was not immediately known. Investigators stayed in the area into the evening, working to piece together what happened and track down whoever pulled the trigger.

In a social media post, the Denver Police Department confirmed that “one victim was transported to a local hospital” and reiterated that the extent of the injuries is still unknown. The department said the investigation remains active as officers work to develop suspect information and detectives canvass the surrounding blocks for witnesses and potential video.
