AURORA, Colo. — Aurora police are renewing their call for help in solving the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy months after he was killed following a house party.
Investigators say Cayden Mazotti was shot July 20 after a gathering on East Bails Place. When officers arrived, they found multiple spent shell casings from guns of different calibers in the street, according to police.
A short time later, authorities received a report of a person with a gunshot wound who had been dropped off about a mile away near East Mexico Avenue and East Oregon Drive. That victim was identified as Mazotti. He later died from his injuries…
