LITTLETON, Colo. — Alamo Drafthouse Cinema announced its Littleton location will be renamed The Pam Grier Cinema.
The Texas-based movie chain said the new name will launch with a live event to honor the actor on Friday, May 15.
A graduate of Denver’s East High School, Grier rose to prominence in the 1970s with roles in such movies as “The Big Doll House,” “Coffy,” “Foxy Brown,” “Sheba,” “Baby,” “Jackie Brown,” and “Friday Foster.”…
