DENVER — A resolution authorizing a three-year license agreement with VeoRide Inc. to operate the city’s shared bike and scooter program was approved by the Denver City Council on Monday.
The company, which does business as Veo, will take over the scooter system citywide beginning May 1, replacing Lime and Bird.
Monday’s vote followed weeks of delays and debate. The proposal was first advanced by the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on April 15, where it was approved for filing. It was later postponed twice by the full council to allow for additional review and public input…
