ARVADA, Colo. — A man is dead following a domestic disturbance and assault in which he barricaded himself and others inside an apartment in Arvada, police said.
Arvada Police said its officers and Westminster Police officers responded after a report of a disturbance between two men at the Willow Green Townhomes in the area of 70th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard. The report indicated multiple people, including children, were inside and that there were guns inside as well.
Officers arrived shortly after 7 a.m. and tried making contact with the people inside. The officers noticed evidence of a struggle and forced their way into the apartment out of concern for the safety of those inside, the department said…
