An Aurora man has been found guilty of causing his newborn daughter’s death by abusing her, authorities said.
Hector Alexandro Delarosa, 21, was convicted by a jury of child abuse resulting in death after a seven-day trial, according to a news release from the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
The police initially responded to Children’s Hospital Colorado on April 19, 2024 after a 10-day-old infant was admitted with severe injuries, which included a skull fracture, brain bleeding, retinal hemorrhages and a fractured femur.
