DENVER — The 9NEWS Weather Impact Team is monitoring the potential for widespread impacts from a cold storm system coming to Colorado on Tuesday.
Significant mountain snow will be possible above 10,000 feet, making travel on the passes difficult at times. The snow level could even drop down to 6,000 feet, which could bring several inches of snow accumulation to the Front Range foothills and the higher suburbs of the Denver metro area.
The main cold front will likely move through Denver on Monday afternoon, bringing isolated rain and thunderstorm chances into the evening hours.
