With big snow expected to hit Colorado over the next couple of days, here’s a look at how a few major roads around the state will be impacted.
To start with I-70, the National Weather Service is calling for about 13 to 22 inches of snow in the area of the Eisenhower Tunnel from Monday night through Wednesday night, with double-digit totals possible along much of this road. Even Denver could get some decent snowfall and depending on how fast it falls, there could be some impacts – about three to seven inches of snow are expected along I-70 in the Mile High City.
It’s also likely that I-25 will see some impacts, too, particularly along the stretch of road between Denver and Colorado Springs – about seven to 12 inches of snow is expected on this road’s high point at Monument Hill.
