DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police arrested a suspect, whom they described as having “an extensive criminal history,” following a pursuit overnight on Monday, according to a post on X from the Aurora Police Department.
On Monday, around 3 a.m., Aurora police were alerted by Flock cameras about a stolen vehicle in the area of Scranton Street and Smith Road. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The suspect did not stop and fled the area.

Officers pursued the suspect to the area of South Quebec Street and Exposition Avenue before performing a successful PIT maneuver. The suspect then attempted to flee on foot, but was caught and arrested. Investigators identified the suspect as 55-year-old Larry Barnes.
