A body discovered near East 3rd Avenue and Ogden Street has Denver police working what they are calling an “outside death” investigation, with the city’s Office of the Medical Examiner now tasked with determining how and why the person died. Police said they will update the public if the case is later reclassified as a homicide.
The Denver Police Department announced the investigation in a post on X, saying it is handling an “outside death” near 3rd Avenue and Ogden Street and that the Office of the Medical Examiner will release the cause of death once it is known. The department added that any new information will be posted as updates to the same X thread and reminded followers that its X account is not monitored for emergency calls, according to the Denver Police Department.
