Belleview Park to see $9M renovation, relocating animal farm

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Englewood park that has been home to a miniature train and animal petting farm for more than 50 years will get a makeover.

The City of Englewood said a Belleview Park renovation project includes a variety of park-wide improvements aimed at enhancing infrastructure, safety, accessibility, and the overall visitor experience.

As part of the project, the park’s animal farm will be relocating to the west side of the park, just east of Pirates Cove Water Park. The $9 million project includes a brand-new barn and animal enclosures, ADA-accessible pathways, new restrooms, a large pavilion, and improved parking and lighting, the city said.
