Man taken to hospital after being stabbed in Aurora ICE facility

DENVER (KDVR) — A man was taken to a hospital Saturday night after being stabbed by another man while the two were detained at the Aurora ICE Processing Center, according to the Aurora Police Department.

Aurora officers responded to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility, run by the GEO Group, at 3130 Oakland St. at around 11 p.m. Saturday for a stabbing report, a spokesperson for the police department said.

Two men detained in the facility got into a fight, and one stabbed another with an “improvised knife,” the police spokesperson said…
