Another plane passenger notifies Denver of possible lawsuit after runway death

DENVER (KDVR) — A woman fought back tears as she described the night she and her daughter were on a flight that killed a man at Denver International Airport.

“We both have nightmares, stuff like that, reliving it,” passenger Iris Martinez said.

For the first time, Martinez is speaking publicly about the night she and her daughter evacuated after a Frontier jet struck and killed a man on the runway at DIA.

“As we started taking off, we were going pretty quick and then all of a sudden we heard a big bang and I look, my daughter’s looking out the window, and then all of a sudden we see all kinds of flames in the window and she looks at me and I look at her and I just like it’s going to be okay, you know. I didn’t know if we were going to be okay, though,” Martinez said…
