LAREDO, TX — Damaged sections of a private jet were transported through Laredo a day after the aircraft crashed on a highway in the border city. Video showed trucks carrying the battered nose, fuselage and other debris recovered from the scene.
The jet had been flying from San José del Cabo, Mexico, to Austin when it went down on June 17, 2026. Authorities said the crash killed tech executive Joshua Baer, 50, and that five other people survived.
Survivors discharged
Officials said two pilots and three teenagers were among the survivors. All five were later discharged from the hospital after treatment.
Crash site recovery
The wreckage movement indicated recovery work was underway following the fatal accident. The video captured the damaged aircraft parts being taken away on lorries through the Texas city.
