Houston’s neon-lit American Chinese will open its first Austin’s location. The Rice Box, Houston’s retro-futuristic American Chinese takeout concept, has confirmed a new Austin location at 2129 E. 7th St., according to the brand’s official site.
The brand has built an unique aesthetic characterized by its neon-lit, retro-arcade design and its fusion menu of reinvented Chinese American classics, including house fried rice, General Tso, sesame, sweet and sour, and Kung Pao chicken, along with Chongqing wings and nitro teas.
