AUSTIN (KXAN) — In a letter sent to students and staff, Austin Community College confirmed a “swatting” incident that launched police responses near two of its campuses Tuesday morning.
“We know that seeing an increased police presence or hearing reports of a safety incident can naturally cause concern,” ACC said. “It is understandable that rumors spread quickly as people look out for one another.”
