Gov. Greg Abbott has announced more than $8.3 million in grants for organizations providing services to veterans across Central Texas.
The $8.367 million in Funds for Veterans’ Assistance grants will go to 35 organizations in the region and are expected to provide services to more than 4,790 veterans. The grants are administered by the Texas Veterans Commission as part of its Grants Across Texas Tour.
