AUSTIN (KXAN) — An Austin man with a decades-long history of selling narcotics has been charged with murder after investigators alleged he supplied fentanyl that led to the overdose death of a construction worker in June.
Jose Antonio Martinez, 54, is accused of delivering fentanyl to Luis Gerardo Cancel-Vargas, who died June 24 after collapsing at a construction site near East Cesar Chavez Street and Brushy Street, according to an affidavit obtained by KXAN.
