A crash on the heels of rush hour is causing major traffic delays in Austin on Monday, April 20. According to the traffic monitoring site SigAlert, the crash occurred on Highway 183 South at the McNeil Drive and Spicewood Springs Road.
Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) cameras showed traffic was backed up to Anderson Mill Road and emergency personnel was on the scene. The three right lanes were blocked and SigAlert reports traffic was stopped as recently as 3:40 p.m. The crash was reported on SigAlert at 3:31 p.m.
Those attempting to travel south on 183 can use Lake Creek Parkway as an alternate route around the crash if traffic is still backed up…
