TODAY: Public hearings set on deadly Kerr County floods as questions remain

AUSTIN – Starting today, state lawmakers will begin sharing what they’ve learned while investigating the deadly July 4th floods in Kerr County.

The Texas House and Senate general investigating committees are holding a two-day public hearing in Austin, where members will receive an update on the flooding, including conditions at Camp Mystic. Lawmakers are expected to hear from a state investigative team that visited the camp last week as part of a broader review.
