Police seek help identifying hit-and-run driver who injured cyclist in downtown Austin

AUSTIN, Texas — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a driver who hit a cyclist in downtown Austin and fled the scene last month.

The collision happened around 2 a.m. on April 2 near the intersection of Congress Avenue and 5th Street. A man riding a bicycle southbound on Congress Avenue was struck by a vehicle that immediately left the scene.
