Air quality alert: Why Texans are being urged to limit driving today

Drivers in several parts of Texas are being urged to stay off the roads when possible as ozone pollution is expected to rise.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality issued several Air Quality Alerts on Wednesday, May 13, for different parts of the state, including El Paso, San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston/Galveston and Austin, according to the National Weather Service.
