TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — An Austin woman will spend the next 40 years in prison after a jury convicted her on two counts of Bodily Injury to a Child.
The investigation began in March 2024, when APD officers responded to a report of a 3-month-old infant not breathing at an apartment complex on North Lamar Boulevard. The infant was taken to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment, but died days later on March 15.
