Bakersfield police seeking teen who allegedly drove stolen vehicle, ran red light

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly ran a red light with a stolen vehicle in central Bakersfield.

On Monday, May 25, a vehicle was stolen from a home. The suspect driving the stolen vehicle failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Chester Avenue and Brundage Lane, according to police.

The vehicle was later recovered, BPD said.

Investigators described the suspect, captured in the photo above, as male and between the ages of 16 and 18. He had brown hair and was wearing a black jacket…
