BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department has published a report documenting city crime numbers for the month of May.
According to the report, BPD responded to 25,162 911 calls and made 1,053 arrests in May but the crimes they responded to ran the gamut.

The department’s numbers show there were 175 reported vehicle thefts, 66 robberies, 91 burglaries and 66 DUI arrests made last month.
Additionally, law enforcement reported 137 aggravated assault calls, 19 sexual assault cases and 230 domestic violence reports…
