BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — An early-morning house fire on Monday led to the death of an 83-year-old woman, according to the Kern County coroner.
Charlene Elaine Costello, 83, of Bakersfield, died in the 900 block of James Road, just north of Petrol Road. The coroner said she was pronounced dead at 2 a.m. Monday, June 22.
The fire reportedly began around 1:20 a.m. The coroner did not provide a cause of the fire at this time…
