Arson suspect arrested after vegetation fire at Highland High School: Bakersfield FD

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A small vegetation fire on the Highland High School campus was quickly put out on Friday, and investigators say it was intentionally set, leading to an arrest.

Bakersfield Fire Department personnel responded to the campus at around noon for a reported vegetation fire. The fire was extinguished before it could spread to nearby buildings, and no injuries were reported.
