BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two people in Delano were arrested and booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Jail on Sunday for allegedly possessing firearms.
The arrest occurred when a Delano police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for reckless driving. The vehicle intentionally lost traction and spin its tires, driving in “donuts” at the intersection of North El Dorado Circle and Almond Tree Way, according to officials.

Officers reported that several residents and children were outside their homes and on the sidewalks at the time, creating a safety hazard.
The officer conducted the traffic stop and the vehicle yielded into the driveway of a residence on the 400 block of North El Dorado Circle in Delano.
