CHP to conduct Independence Day Holiday Enforcement Period

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The California Highway Patrol is set to conduct a holiday enforcement period during the Independence Day holiday.

The enforcement period is scheduled from 6 p.m. on July 2 to 11:59 p.m. on July 5, according to CHP. During that time, officers will be enforcing the roadway to address unsafe driving and combat speeding.
