BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – The woman found dead in a residential pool this week was a local doctor.
The Kern County coroner identified the woman as 71-year-old Sarwa Aldoori of Bakersfield, after she was found deceased by police on the evening of Tuesday, June 30. The Bakersfield Police Department said her death investigation is still active, as the manner, cause and details surrounding her death are still pending.

Aldoori – found in a pool behind an upscale home in the 1400 block of Pineglen Drive – worked as a physician and had 35 years of experience in OBGYN surgery. She worked as one of the two doctors with Bella Health and Beauty, a plastic surgery center in northeast Bakersfield.
