Man charged in 2023 South Union Ave double homicide to get new attorney

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man charged with murder in the shooting deaths of two people on South Union Avenue will receive new defense counsel.

The attorney who was representing Brian Castellon recently suffered a medical emergency and the cases he was handling are being assigned to other attorneys through the Indigent Defense Program.
