BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Four people were arrested after McFarland police investigated reports of gunfire on July 4. Officers allegedly found guns, ammunition, and shell casings during a search warrant.
The McFarland Police Department said on July 4, 2026, at around 11 p.m., officers were called to the 700 block of 5th Street following reports of people shooting guns.
