BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Lancaster man accused of critically injuring a bicyclist in a shooting on Forrest Street in Bakersfield was arraigned Tuesday on charges including attempted murder.
Christian Villasenor, 43, had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf to charges of attempted murder, assault with a gun and felon in possession of a gun. Bail was set at $600,000 and he’s due back in court July 27.
The shooting occurred June 30 in the 1700 block of Forrest Street. Police said the victim and Villasenor know each other.
Villasenor was arrested in Las Vegas and returned to Kern County…
