BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A 38-year-old woman died after a crash on the northbound Highway 99 to westbound Highway 58 transition Monday morning.
The Bakersfield Police Department said on July 27th, 2026, at around 9:56 a.m., officers were called to the Westside Parkway near the Highway 99 interchange regarding a crash.
When officers arrived, they found a gray Toyota Corolla disabled in the westbound lanes.
Bakersfield police said the preliminary investigation found that the Toyota was traveling westbound on the Westside Parkway when it abruptly veered off the roadway and struck multiple fixed objects…
