BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — You can’t head to the fair without a little style. This year it’s hair, a good hat and a good pair of boots.
First, you have to head over to Sip and Style salon and start with your fair hair.
“The hair just fits everything and puts everything together,” said Sip and Style’s Giselle Barajas. “If your hair is done, you look done up.”
For some, there is only two style options.
“It’s either that 90’s blow out look or beach waves,” said Hunter Rodriguez, as she gets her hair washed at the salon.
Owner Shelly Guss said the shop has been booming getting clients ready for fair fun.
“They just love their blowouts, nice beach waves and they’re off to have fun, eat the fair food,” said Guss. “Luckily for us, we’re a getting ready service, so we’re actually getting them prepared to go there to look their best and feel their best.”
