BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man was sentenced for a shooting outside El Portal West Mexican Grill and Cantina that wounded two people, court records show.
Billy Burell, 29, was sentenced to three years in prison Tuesday. He pleaded no contest to assault with a gun in March and his other charges, including attempted murder, were dismissed, according to court records.
