BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified two people who died after a crash on Highway 14 as 85-year-old Roland James Squires and 83-year-old Carolyn Darnell Squires, both of California City.
The CHP’s website said on Monday, April 13, 2026, at around 5:08 p.m., there was a report of a two-vehicle crash, a Mazda and a Corolla, on Highway 14 near Highway 58.
