IRVINE, CA-An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation on Sand Canyon last Tuesday, leading to a pursuit and the arrest of a 41-year-old man.
The driver, identified as Mason Gerald Miller of Wasco, failed to yield and fled onto the 5 Freeway. During the pursuit, the driver was observed discarding bags of suspected illegal narcotics from the vehicle’s window.
