BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A duck has made itself comfortable at a gym in southwest Bakersfield.
The duck, now being referred to as Penelope, has captured the hearts of volunteers and gym goers as she gets ready to lay her eggs.
Penelope was discovered by employees in the In-Shape Fitness parking lot on Ming Avenue. Volunteers have been providing her with water and anything she may need, even placing a umbrella and safety cones in her area…
