BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — After more than a dozen delays, the jury trial for Alan Booth, the man accused of driving drunk into a crowd at the 2023 Bakersfield Christmas Parade, is now expected to begin on Monday, May 18.
Records show the trial had been set to start as early as last July but has been postponed repeatedly since then.
Booth has pleaded not guilty to counts of assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and DUI. He is being held without bail…
