Baltimore Loses Classic Rock Outlet As K-Love Buys WZBA.

Times-Shamrock is selling “100.7 The Bay” WZBA Baltimore to K-Love, bringing an end to the longtime classic rock outlet. The $2.7 million transaction also includes a pair of FM translators – the Baltimore licensed W261CD (100.1) and the Bel Air licensed W298CG (107.5). The sale will leave the market without a classic rock station, after WZBA signs-off after a nearly 30-year run.

The deal follows the recent sale of a pair of Milwaukee stations – WLDB (93.3) and WLUM (102.1) – to K-Love in August 2025. The stations were operated by Milwaukee Radio Alliance – a partnership between Times-Shamrock and All-Pro Broadcasting.

K-Love doesn’t currently own any stations in Baltimore, although its Washington contemporary Christian “K-Love” station WLVW (107.3) covers parts of the market. Once the sale closes, Times-Shamrock will still own seven stations in the Wilkes Barre-Scranton, PA market and a Las Vegas FM…
