June 13 Saturday Morning Report
The high temperature reached 97℉ in Baltimore for a second day in a row, but this one on Friday broke the old record set in 1914. It was also fuel for a pulse of severe storms in the evening that peaked over Annapolis.
A severe thunderstorm produced winds between 60 mph and 80 mph resulting in numerous trees down in historic neighborhoods and power outages.

This was from Pasadena, but the orange sky was across the region and made a big impression over Camden Yards in Baltimore.

Today will be warm and less humid. While we start sunny, clouds are expected to return this afternoon. This will be followed by a few days with cooler weather for the work week…
