The trial of 43-year-old Aaron Mills, accused of firing multiple rounds at patrons following a dispute over an unpaid bar tab, was delayed because his attorney was double booked in another trial.
Mills is charged with two counts each of first-degree assault and use of a firearm in a crime of violence, as well as second-degree assault, assault on a law enforcement officer, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and multiple other firearm and drug distribution-related offenses. The charges stem from a Dec. 28, 2025 shooting on the 6000 block of Belair Road.
According to charging documents, Mills allegedly retrieved firearms from a black Dodge Ram truck after an argument at Hubcap Bar & Grill and fired several rounds toward two victims. No injuries were reported. Police stated Mills resisted arrest and assaulted an officer…
