Charter school enrollment in Maryland doubles since 2010 as pushback grows over funding

Port Deposit, Md. (WBFF) — The public charter school movement continues to gain momentum in Maryland, as more families want choices in where their children attend class. But some say the movement is receiving pushback.

Donna Culberson, since 2021, has been a member of the Cecil County Council – representing District 4. But she’ll soon be leaving.
