MARYLAND (WBFF) — As movers carried mattresses, tables and taped cardboard boxes into a trailer parked outside his Linthicum home, Pat Carey looked across the lawn at what would stay behind: scattered trash bags, patches of worn grass and a house that no longer felt like the best financial option.
