BATON ROUGE — On May 27, Baton Rouge Police officers arrested a man on drugs charges after initially investigating a reported assault with a firearm. Officers say they found more than 80 packs of THC-infused gummies and candy, along with ecstasy, cocaine and other drugs.
Officers responded to a home in the 2400 block of Drusilla Lane on Wednesday to investigate a reported assault.
Once there, officers began questioning 32-year-old Darius Crawford about the incident. During the investigation, officers asked Crawford whether he had any weapons in the home and if he would agree to a search of the premises, according to an affidavit.
