The Gonzales Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect on multiple felony warrants who remained barricaded inside an apartment for hours.
According to a GPD news release, at around 10:30 a.m. May 30, 27-year-old Daronti Antonio Wesley observed officers entering Magnolia Crossing Apartments along Burnside Avenue and ran into an apartment and refused commands to exit.
