Baton Rouge officer placed on leave for suspected intoxicated driving

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A Baton Rouge police officer is accused of driving more than 100 mph on Interstate 12 and is now facing a DWI charge, a department spokesperson said.

The stop happened just after midnight on May 30, after officers with the Baton Rouge Police Department were running radar, and Sabrione Reed passed them on I-12.

Reed was later stopped in the Denham Springs area while driving her personal vehicle…
