Judge sets bond for man accused of shooting 2-year-old

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Landrick Ruffin was back in court Monday.

He is charged with six counts of attempted first-degree murder after authorities said he allegedly got out of his car and opened fire on the car that was following him from behind. Police said he hit a 2-year-old that was in the back seat.

The shooting happened Dec. 31, 2025.
