BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A brother was arrested after the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office (EFPSO) responded to his sister’s home around 8:51 a.m. on Friday, June 5.
The ensuing investigation ended with Antonie McElwee, 28, of Clinton, being charged with one count of cruelty to animals.
Prior to arriving at the home, deputies learned “that the brother allegedly grabbed the sister’s dog and threw the animal,” according to the EFPSO.
